作者：pop888 【林源隆 草屯讀者】 我在地方上一家醫院服務，十多年來，看盡社會百態，感受人情冷暖。 幾個月前，病房住著一對相依為命的母子，母親是癌症末期患者，兒子因僵直性脊椎炎住院治療。 本身腰椎疼痛，已不良於行的兒子，因家境清寒無力請看護，自己忍痛照顧母親，每天替母親擦身、拍背、按摩、餵食，從不發一句怨言，也不敢在母親面前說一聲苦，直到母親離開人世為止。 每次我進入那間病房探視，看到孝親的一幕，都有莫名的感動。回想自己雙親在世生病住院時，照顧雙親竟沒有那位孝子的十分之一，深感汗顏。 在病房裡，住院病人、照顧的家人和探訪的親友，進進出出，每天上演著一齣齣的戲。 這位患有僵直性脊椎炎的兒子，在道德淪喪的社會中，實在非常罕見。
