燒燙傷患者得面對多次的植皮手術和長時間的復原，結果還不一定令人滿意。

現在英國研發一種新的療法，將液態的人造皮膚細胞噴在燒燙傷部位，靠著患者人體組織自行復原。

這項療法已經進入臨床試驗，成功的話，將造福燒燙傷患者。

英國新研發的液態人造皮膚細胞成粉紅色的液體狀，醫生將它裝進針筒裡，慢慢的噴在燒燙傷病患身上。

醫生表示，這種新的療法，可以促使皮膚再生，因此過去無法處理的大範圍燒燙傷的問題可以獲得改善。

整型醫生菲爾吉柏指出，「大範圍的燒燙傷遍及全身80%到90%，會導致死亡，但是這種新療法會增加傷患活命的機率。」
